Blame Twitter

Back in 2019, I wanted to challenge myself as an artist, so I ran three polls on Twitter. One determined the pair of characters I should draw next, while the others focused on outfits and color schemes.

As will probably shock no one, Coco and Nicholas won these polls. The Twitterverse fated them to dress up in cozy winter outfits, with a green/blue color scheme, you go!

I later ran these polls again, with all the options that hadn't won the first round. This time, Twitter decided the world should see Spencer and Jay in fancy outfits, with a blue/purple color scheme. YOU'RE WELCOME.

Because this latest round of polls had clear second and third place winners, I planned on illustrating those, too. Unfortunately, I never got past the preliminary sketch stage for either. I still hope to draw them someday. If I don't...well, the ones people really wanted exist, and that's good enough, yeah?! XD

  1. I think what's funny about your sketches is that someone always looks unhappy. We must all enjoy seeing them tortured!

  2. fabulous!! the color schemes go really well too!
and “The Undeath of Me” is a great title—love it!

thanks for all your support and help!

  3. Awesome! I giggled at Alex's comment there. It's true! You create such great expressions on your characters.

  4. Interesting what polls can tell you. I love all your characters!
